Pop-It Letters
These pop-its are amazing to use for letter recognition practice! They can also double up as pop-its for phonological activities like phoneme counting!
-
Bracelet Pop-Its
These are my favorite pop-its to use for phonemic awareness activities! I love that they’re already one row of pop-its, ready to go for counting the sounds in a word.
-
Mini Mirrors
These small mirrors are perfect for small-group and whole-class discussions of articulation of sounds. Showing students what their mouth does when making specific sounds is so helpful for student articulation!
-
Unifix Cubes
These are my favorite manipulative to use for counting and manipulating sounds in words before mapping them to print. They’re simple, durable, and hands-on!
-
Stamp Markers
My students love using these stamp markers to “highlight” the key phonics pattern in decodable texts. We highlight the words that have our pattern, read just those words, and then read the whole text. It’s a fun twist on the regular highlighter!
-
Whisper Phones
These are a teacher’s best friend when working with small reading groups! Students can hear themselves read while also blocking out the students reading next to them. The teacher can focus in on specific students more easily when everyone is whispering.

Mini Post-It Notes
A sweet and simple tool for vocabulary and comprehension work! Students can mark and take notes in book without actually writing in the book. Use them to highlight unknown words, key ideas, questions, inferences, and so much more!
